Glitter Rinse Repeat
New song. Available everywhere.
We all deserve to disco.
Glitter Rinse Repeat is a drama-pop song celebrating the cyclical dance of life.
‘GRR’ invites fans to dance away their trauma, find-self forgiveness, and wake up with a little strut.
A breakup, a drunken shame spiral, a slight at work, or just spilled milk – all moments to say ‘GRR’ as a way to clean the mirror through which we look at ourselves.
“I’m an open book
In an ancient language no one
Seems to know
Line, sink, and hook
I took the bait and now I just can’t
Let it go”
Glitter, glitter, glitter rinse repeat
Krystofer Maison (he/they) is a performing artist and songwriter based in New York City.
"I'm an open book in an ancient language no one seems to know..."
That lyric from his upcoming single “Glitter Rinse Repeat”, captures the paradox and power of Krystofer Maison—a voice that feels familiar yet otherworldly and an artist who reveals everything while remaining endlessly layered.
Maison is not just a performer. He’s an experience. A theatrical storyteller with a voice that refuses to be confined effortlessly stretching across genres, moods, and nearly three and a half octaves. His artistry was shaped by a decade of classical and musical theatre training, a love for romantic composers like Puccini and Rachmaninov, and a fierce connection to modern icons like Lady Gaga, David Bowie, and Pink. He’s as likely to cite Celine Dion as he is Nicki Minaj, his wide range matched only by the boldness of his vision.
Whether silencing stadiums with the national anthem at Citi Field and TD Garden, or captivating intimate rooms at nearly 50 venues across the country, Maison’s gift lies in his ability to connect. His performances like those at Pride at the Park, the Gingerbread Haus, and a NYPL-sponsored series at the Stavros Niarchos Library, aren’t just shows, they’re shared moments. As Emily Spins It put it: “Maison’s vocal prowess isn’t something created in a studio. It’s real and incredibly captivating.” That same authenticity has earned him festival slots at Mondo Music Conference and a coveted debut at Night of 1000 Stevies. He’s been featured in Town & Country, TimeOut New York, and has become known for weaving meaningful causes into his work by championing LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, and arts education through both performance and purpose.
Offstage, Maison brings the same care to community. He’s worked with over 250 organizations and managed $20M+ in charitable partnerships during his time working with institutions like the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Museum of Fine Arts, and the LGBT Center of NYC. He currently serves as an advisor for Project Blackbird, advocating for mental health in entertainment, and sits on the committee for Music Managers Forum - US (MMF-US).
Musically, Maison blends operatic drama with synth-pop shimmer, pulling from influences like Elton John, Janelle Monáe, Marina, Adam Lambert, and Kesha. But beneath the glam, genre jumps, and glitter lies a core of honesty. He writes like someone who’s lived through it, and sings like someone who made it out the other side.
It’s rare to find an artist who can command a stadium and a candlelit bar with equal gravity. Krystofer Maison is that rarity. An open book in a language all his own, and he’s inviting you to learn to read it, one unforgettable note at a time.
